Anna Sundström

Anna Sundström is Secretary-General for the Olof Palme International Center. Ms. Sundström holds a Bachelor of Political Science with a major in global development studies and a European master’s degree in humanitarian assistance with a major in peace and conflict studies. She has previously worked as international secretary of the Social Democratic Women’s Organization, as international secretary and policy advisor in the Swedish Parliament, and Head of Operations of the Olof Palme International Center. More recently Ms. Sundström worked as a policy advisor at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The Olof Palme International Center is the umbrella organization for the Swedish labor movement. Its extensive international network enables cooperation with global partners for progressive development that advances democracy, equality, and sustainability. The Olof Palme International Center currently runs around 200 projects in 20 countries worldwide.
