Laurence Boisson de Chazournes is Professor of international law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva. She is Director of the Geneva Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS). She is also the Director of the Geneva Water Hub’s Platform for International Water Law (Geneva Water Hub: https://www.genevawaterhub.org/fr). Laurence Boisson de Chazournes is an arbitrator and has acted as counsel before the International Court of Justice as well as in other international fora and has been involved in negotiations regarding international watercourses. She has received the Elizabeth Haub Prize for Environmental Law (2008) and was a member of the Global High-Level Panel on Water and Peace (2015-2017).
