Shirleen Chin is an international legal expert working on matters related to the environment, climate change, human rights, illicit trade, corruption and organised crime. As recognition of her work, Shirleen has spoken at various international conferences on environmental crime, ecocide, illegal trade in natural resources, anti-corruption and organised crime. She also gives regular lectures and trainings to students, diplomats and trade associations. She is a Steering Committee Member of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime, Member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law and enjoys giving strategic advice to youth-founded initiatives such as Saving Tuvalu. Through her own consultancy, Green Transparency, Shirleen works on strategic advocacy with partners like Stop Ecocide International, the EU (DG ECHO) and the documentary film-makers.
